Regional Contest for Images of the King in Memphis

Each contestant will be judged in the following five categories: Vocals Appearance, Authentic Movements, Connection with the Audience, Stage Presence & Professionalism. First thru fifth place will be awarded cash prizes.
First Place - $1000. Second Place - $500. Third Place - $300. Fourth Place - $200. Fifth Place - $100.
Each contestant will sing 3 songs, then the top five will perform another 3 songs. Each contesteant will provide a photograph and biography for the program book and publicity purposes. Deadline for registration is July 19, 2008. Entry fee is $10.00.
Contestants will provide the backing music – CDs should be labeled with name. Contest begins at 11:00 am. Museum opens at 10:00 am to the public. There is a dressing area with bath and shower.
